Gender & Women Empowerment
Empowered women. Stronger communities. Sustainable futures.Women’s equality and empowerment is a Sustainable Development Goal and integral to all
dimensions of inclusive and sustainable development. Women empowerment is crucial in spurring
rural economic development.
Our Approach
Women and girls everywhere deserve equal rights, equal opportunities, and the freedom to live without violence, discrimination, or exclusion. Gender equality is not only one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but also a fundamental driver of inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development.
At RHAC-Uganda, we recognize that empowering women is essential to transforming families, strengthening communities, and accelerating rural economic development. Our Women Empowerment Programme focuses on increasing women’s economic inclusion, leadership, and participation in decision-making while creating opportunities that enable them to realize their full potential.
